Experienced Turner for Full Time Position in Los Angeles

We are hiring an experienced Turner to join our team in Los Angeles. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various turning machines to produce precise metal parts according to specifications. This is a full-time position with accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate turning machines to produce accurate metal parts
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, or drawings to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished parts
- Measure finished parts using precision instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
- Make adjustments as needed to ensure parts meet specifications
- Inspect finished parts for defects and make any necessary repairs or adjustments
- Maintain equipment by performing regular maintenance and repairs
- Follow safety procedures at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Turner in a manufacturing setting
- Proficient in reading blueprints and using precision measuring instruments
- Knowledge of machining processes, tools, and materials
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
