Collector - Bungoma, India


We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Collector to join our team in Bungoma, India. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting payments from customers, negotiating payment plans, and maintaining accurate records of all transactions. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to handle difficult situations with tact and professionalism. This is a contract job with visa sponsorship available for the right candidate. Fluency in English is not required for this position. Previous experience in collections or customer service is preferred. Salary for this position is 1600$ per month.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Contacting customers via phone, email, or mail to collect payments
- Negotiating payment plans for customers who are unable to pay in full
- Maintaining accurate records of all payments received and outstanding debts
- Resolving any customer complaints or issues related to billing or payment
- Working closely with other departments to ensure timely and accurate billing processes
- Keeping up-to-date on company policies and procedures related to collections and billing

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience in collections or customer service preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to stay calm in difficult situations and handle conflict with tact and professionalism
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours when needed
