Commercial Architect - Funchal, Portugal

As a Commercial Architect, you will be responsible for designing commercial buildings and spaces that meet the needs of clients while also adhering to local building codes and regulations. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and other professionals to develop functional and aesthetically pleasing designs that are also cost-effective.

Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients to discuss their needs and budget for commercial projects
- Develop building plans and designs that meet client requirements and comply with building codes
- Create detailed drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other professionals to ensure project feasibility and adherence to budget
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure design specifications are being met
- Make adjustments to plans as necessary based on client feedback or unforeseen issues during construction
- Research new materials, construction techniques, and sustainable design practices to incorporate into projects

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited university
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial architecture
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other CAD software
- Strong understanding of local building codes, regulations, and construction methods
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and other professionals

Salary: $1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Funchal, Portugal (free visa and ticket provided)
