Heavy Equipment Operator
As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders to assist in the construction and maintenance of roads, buildings, and other structures. This is a physically demanding job that requires long periods of standing, sitting, and operating heavy machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner according to job site regulations
- Conduct pre-operation inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Safely maneuver equipment to perform tasks such as digging, grading, and moving materials
- Maintain cleanliness and regular maintenance of equipment
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations on the job site
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
- Keep accurate records of daily operations including materials used and hours worked
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator or similar role
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Knowledge of various types of heavy equipment and their functions
- Physical ability to operate heavy machinery for long periods of time in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical certification or training in heavy equipment operation
- Experience working with construction companies or road maintenance crews
Location: This position is located in Karachi, Pakistan. However, we are open to candidates from other cities who are willing to relocate.
Salary: We offer a competitive salary of 1400$ per month for this role.
