Construction Project Manager
As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects in Malindi. Your main duties will include planning, budgeting, organizing, and supervising the construction process from start to finish. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resources allocation.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution of the project.
- Oversee all construction activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure timely completion.
- Manage project finances by tracking expenses, approving invoices, and controlling costs.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on project status and address any concerns or issues.
- Review and approve designs, plans, specifications, and other technical documents.
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect work quality and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise.
- Hire and manage a team of construction workers to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Prepare reports on project performance for management review.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or similar role in the construction industry.
- Knowledge of construction processes, building codes, safety regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving project goals.
- Effective communication skills with fluency in English. Knowledge of local languages is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
We offer competitive salary packages starting at 1200$ per month along with accommodation. This position is open to Indian nationals who have their own visa and are willing to relocate to Malindi. Freshers with relevant education and experience are also welcome to apply.
