Debt Recovery Specialist



The Debt Recovery Specialist will be responsible for managing and collecting overdue payments from customers. This position requires excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to negotiate and build relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in debt collection and a proven track record of successfully recovering outstanding debts.

Responsibilities:
- Contacting customers via phone, email, or mail to collect overdue payments
- Negotiating payment plans and settlement agreements with customers
- Maintaining accurate records of all collection activities
- Monitoring customer accounts for non-payment, delayed payments, or other irregularities
- Working closely with the sales team to resolve any customer disputes or issues that may be causing payment delays
- Providing regular updates on collections progress to management
- Collaborating with legal teams when necessary to initiate legal action against delinquent accounts
- Following up on payment commitments and ensuring timely resolution of outstanding debts

Requirements:
- Previous experience in debt collection or a similar role is preferred
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Familiarity with debt recovery laws and regulations
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs
- Fluency in English is required, knowledge of Arabic is a plus

Salary: 1800$ per month

Location: Nakuru, Kenya (Egyptian national preferred)
