Our established construction company in Funchal, Portugal is seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures made of wood, plywood, and other materials. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1200$ per month and visa sponsorship is available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut materials to specified dimensions using hand or power tools
- Read and interpret blueprints and building plans to determine project requirements
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, trim, and hardware
- Inspect work progress to ensure quality standards are met
- Repair or replace damaged framework or other structures according to project needs
- Collaborate with other carpenters and construction workers on projects

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Carpenter in a construction setting
- Proficient in using hand and power tools such as saws, drills, sanders, etc.
- Strong knowledge of wood properties and techniques for working with different types of wood
- Ability to read blueprints and building plans accurately
- Attention to detail with excellent measuring skills
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials if required
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
