Job Title: Contract Librarian - Porto, Portugal



We are in search of a skilled Librarian to join our team in Porto, Portugal. As a Contract Librarian, you will be responsible for managing our library resources and providing assistance to library patrons. This is a contract position with a salary of 1600$, open to all nationalities.

Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain library collections, including cataloging and shelving books
- Assist patrons with finding materials and provide information about library resources
- Develop and implement programs to promote literacy and community engagement
- Manage circulation of materials, including checkouts, returns, and fines
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in library science
- Collaborate with other librarians to develop collections and coordinate services

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Previous experience working as a librarian preferred
- Strong knowledge of cataloging systems and library databases
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must have valid visa sponsorship for working in Portugal
