Head Chef for Indian Restaurant in Ar-Ruwais
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team at our Indian restaurant in Ar-Ruwais. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Create and develop menus featuring authentic Indian cuisine
- Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to proper food handling and safety standards
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment
- Ensure all dishes are prepared according to recipes and presented in an appealing manner
- Continuously strive to improve menu offerings and maintain consistency in taste, quality, and portion sizes
- Adhere to budgetary guidelines for food costs while maintaining high standards of quality
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience as a Head Chef in an Indian restaurant setting
- Up-to-date knowledge of traditional Indian cuisine, as well as modern techniques and trends
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays
Salary: 1000$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
