Land Surveyor
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Land Surveyor to join our team in Nairobi. As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting land surveys and mapping to determine property boundaries, as well as providing accurate data for construction projects. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in land surveying and possess strong technical skills in using surveying equipment and software.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct topographic, boundary, and construction surveys using surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS, and laser levels
- Prepare and maintain accurate survey records, including field notes, maps, and digital data
- Interpret plans, maps, and legal documents to determine property boundaries
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to provide accurate survey data for project planning and design
- Use specialized software for data analysis and creating maps and drawings
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations on job sites
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in land surveying
- Strong knowledge of land surveying principles, techniques, equipment
- Proficient in using surveying software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D or Trimble Business Center
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good physical fitness for working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Valid driver's license
Salary: $1300 per month
Location: Nairobi
