Machine Operator

As a machine operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery in our manufacturing plant in Bungoma. You will work closely with the production team to ensure that machines are running efficiently and producing high-quality products. This is a contract position with a monthly salary of $1800. We are specifically looking for candidates who are Indian nationals and English speaking, but all nationalities are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery according to standard procedures and safety regulations
- Monitor machines during operation and make adjustments as needed
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure proper functioning
- Identify and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during production
- Collaborate with the production team to meet production targets and maintain quality standards
- Keep records of machine performance, maintenance, and any incidents that occur
- Adhere to all safety protocols at all times

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a machine operator is preferred
- Familiarity with different types of machinery and their functions
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects if necessary
- Basic computer skills for recording data and completing reports
- Must be fluent in English (both written and verbal)
- Indian nationality is preferred but not required
