Excavator Operator


We are currently hiring experienced Excavator Operators to join our team in Nakuru, Kenya. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy equipment to complete various construction projects. This is a contract position with a salary of 1200$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavator equipment safely and efficiently according to project requirements
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Read and interpret blueprints and maps to accurately complete excavation tasks
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and report any issues or concerns to the supervisor
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate effectively with team members and other contractors on site

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating excavators in a construction setting
- Valid excavator operator license or certification is preferred
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of excavator operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Ability to read blueprints, maps, and other technical documents
- Physically fit with the capability to lift heavy objects and work in outdoor environments
- Excellent communication skills in English
