Merchandiser Supervisor


We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Merchandiser Supervisor to join our team in Funchal. As a Merchandiser Supervisor, you will oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of merchandising strategies to drive sales and enhance customer experience. You will also be responsible for managing a team of merchandisers and ensuring that all merchandise is properly displayed and stocked.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement merchandising strategies to meet sales targets
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitors' activities
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create attractive displays that highlight promotions and new products
- Train and supervise a team of merchandisers to ensure effective execution of merchandising plans
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with suppliers to ensure timely restocking of products
- Evaluate the effectiveness of merchandising strategies through sales data analysis
- Identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and visual standards

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the retail industry
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines

Salary: $1600 per month without accommodation (negotiable based on experience).
Location: Funchal (candidates must be legally eligible to work in Portugal).
