Heavy Equipment Operator


We are hiring a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Almada. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery such as bulldozers, excavators, and cranes. Your main goal will be to ensure the safe and efficient operation of these machines to complete construction projects on time.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner according to project requirements
- Conduct pre-operation checks and maintenance on equipment
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while on the job site
- Read and interpret blueprints, maps, and other project documents
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project progress
- Troubleshoot any operational issues and report them to the supervisor promptly

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator or similar role
- Valid certification or license for operating heavy equipment
- Knowledge of different types of construction machinery and their functions
- Ability to read blueprints/maps and follow instructions
- Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1000 per month for this position.

Location:
This position is based in Almada, Portugal. However, we welcome candidates from other locations who are willing to relocate.

Visa and Ticket:
For non-EU candidates, we provide free visa sponsorship. Additionally, we also cover the cost of the initial ticket for relocation.
