Senior Accountant



Position: Senior Accountant
Location: Al Buraymi, Oman
Salary: 1300$

We are a leading financial services company based in Al Buraymi, Oman, seeking a highly experienced and qualified Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. This position is open to Nepali nationals as well as foreigners who are fluent in English.

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial activities of our company and ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported. You will work closely with the finance team to prepare financial statements, manage budgets, and conduct internal audits.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Monitor budgets and prepare monthly budget reports for management review
- Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions in a timely manner
- Reconcile bank statements and perform account reconciliations
- Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with local tax laws
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management for decision making

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience working in the financial services industry is preferred
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficient in using accounting software such as Quickbooks or SAP
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
