Plasterboard Technician

We are hiring a skilled Plasterboard Technician to join our team in Mauren. As a Plasterboard Technician, you will be responsible for installing and finishing plasterboard walls and ceilings in residential and commercial buildings. Your duties will include measuring and cutting plasterboard, preparing surfaces for installation, applying joint compound, and sanding and smoothing the finished product. You may also be required to repair or replace damaged plasterboard. The ideal candidate will have experience working with plasterboard and possess strong manual dexterity skills. This is a contract position with accommodation provided and visa sponsorship available.

As a Plasterboard Technician, you must have a keen eye for detail and be able to work efficiently to meet project deadlines. You should also have good communication skills as you may need to collaborate with other tradespeople on the job site. This role requires physical strength and stamina as you will be standing, bending, lifting heavy materials, and working at heights.

Requirements:
- Indian nationality preferred
- No English language proficiency required
- Prior experience working with plasterboard
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Strong manual dexterity skills
- Physical fitness for performing tasks such as standing, bending, lifting heavy materials, etc.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Attention to detail
- Time management skills for meeting project deadlines

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut plasterboard according to specifications
- Prepare surfaces by removing old material or adding insulation
- Install plasterboard on walls or ceilings using appropriate tools
- Apply joint compound evenly on seams between panels
- Smooth out compound using trowels or sandpaper
- Repair or replace damaged plasterboard if necessary
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on the job site as needed

Salary: 1000$ per month
