Excavator Operator (Contract)


We are seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team on a contract basis in Bungoma. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment and machinery to excavate, level, and move earth, rock, gravel or other materials. Your main duties will include conducting pre-operational checks on equipment, following safety protocols, and maintaining accurate records of work performed.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience operating excavators
- Valid excavator operator certification
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and diagrams
- Good communication skills in English
- Physically fit to handle the demands of the job
- Pakistani or Malayalee nationality preferred

Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment before use
- Operate excavator to move earth, rock, gravel or other materials as per project requirements
- Follow safety protocols at all times and report any hazards or incidents immediately
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including daily logs and maintenance reports
- Collaborate with other workers on site to ensure smooth operations
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
- Adhere to project deadlines and complete tasks within given timeframes

Salary:
The salary for this contract position is $1400 per month.
