Industrial Alpinist

Our company is seeking an experienced and skilled Industrial Alpinist to join our team in Faro, Portugal. As an Industrial Alpinist, you will be responsible for performing various tasks at heights using specialized equipment and techniques. This is a contract job with a salary of 1400$ per month, with the added bonus of a free visa and ticket for international applicants.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting rope access work at industrial sites, including oil rigs, construction sites, and wind turbines.
- Inspecting and maintaining equipment to ensure safety standards are met.
- Rigging ropes and other equipment according to specific job requirements.
- Using specialized tools to perform tasks such as painting, cleaning, welding, or repairs.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures while working at heights.
- Communicating effectively with team members on the ground via radio or hand signals.

Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Industrial Alpinist or in a similar role.
- Certification in industrial rope access techniques (e.g. IRATA or SPRAT).
- Physical fitness and strength to perform tasks while suspended at heights.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and challenging environments.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in multiple rope access techniques (e.g. ascending, descending, rescue).
- Additional certifications such as confined space entry or first aid training.
- Experience working on offshore platforms or in high-risk environments.
