Welder


We are currently seeking an experienced Welder to join our team in Braga. As a Welder, you will be responsible for performing various welding techniques and processes to fabricate and repair metal structures. This is a contract job with accommodation provided, so candidates must be willing to relocate to Braga for the duration of the contract.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings
- Set up and operate welding equipment including MIG, TIG, and Stick welders
- Clean and prepare surfaces for welding by using various methods such as grinding, sanding, or chemical cleaning
- Perform welding techniques such as shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), and gas metal arc welding (GMAW)
- Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards
- Repair defective parts or products by using appropriate welding techniques
- Maintain a safe working environment by following all safety procedures and regulations

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Welder in a similar role
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Knowledge of various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, SMAW, GTAW, GMAW
- Familiarity with different types of metals and their properties
- Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality work
- Physical stamina and strength to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
- Flexibility to work on different projects as needed
- Willingness to relocate to Braga for the duration of the contract

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1500$ per month.

This is a contract job with an expected duration of 6 months.
