Mason - Construction Worker (Shan, China)

We are hiring a skilled Mason to join our construction team in Shan, China. As a Mason, you will be responsible for building and repairing structures using materials such as bricks, concrete blocks, and natural or artificial stones. Your main duties will include laying out patterns or foundations, mixing and applying mortar or cement, and aligning structures according to blueprints or design plans.

To be successful in this role, you must have at least 2 years of experience as a Mason and be proficient in using hand and power tools. You should also have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Additionally, it is important that you have good physical stamina and can work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare construction site by clearing debris and setting up necessary equipment
- Measure and mark accurate lines for masonry work
- Lay out patterns or foundations using tools such as plumb lines or levels
- Mix mortar or cement according to specifications
- Lay bricks, concrete blocks, or stones in an orderly fashion using various techniques
- Align structures according to blueprints or design plans
- Repair any damaged masonry work by replacing broken blocks/bricks/stones
- Cut materials using hand or power saws for precise fitting
- Clean up site after completing job

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mason in the construction industry
- Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints/design plans
- Proficient in using hand/power tools for cutting, shaping, and smoothing materials
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail
