Mason - Construction Worker (Indian or Kenyan)


We are searching for a skilled Mason to join our construction team in Shan. As a Mason, you will be responsible for building and repairing structures such as walls, floors, and patios using various materials like brick, stone, and concrete. The ideal candidate should have experience in measuring, cutting, and shaping different types of building materials accurately.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints or other specifications to determine the layout of structures
- Measure and cut materials to the required size using hand or power tools
- Lay out patterns or foundations according to plans provided
- Mix mortar or grout and spread it onto the surface being worked on
- Align bricks or stones and ensure they are level using plumb lines, levels, and squares
- Fill joints with mortar and remove excess mortar using trowels
- Install fireplaces, chimneys or other structural components as needed
- Repair cracks or damages in existing structures

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mason or similar role
- Knowledge of different masonry techniques and tools
- Ability to interpret blueprints and work independently
- Physically fit with good manual dexterity
- Attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Indian or Kenyan nationality preferred

This is a full-time position with a salary of 1700$. Part-time positions may also be available. Please note that this job does not include accommodation.
