Crane Operator

We are currently seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our team in Faro, Portugal. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift and move heavy materials, machinery, and equipment on construction sites or in other industrial settings. Your main duties will include inspecting and maintaining the crane, following safety protocols, and communicating with other crew members. The ideal candidate will have previous experience operating cranes, a valid certification, and strong communication skills. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1000 per month and accommodation provided. Non-Portuguese nationals may apply but must have their own valid work visa. Crane Operator Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of cranes including mobile cranes, tower cranes, and overhead cranes
- Inspect the crane before each shift to ensure proper functioning and identify any potential safety hazards
- Communicate with other crew members to ensure safe and efficient movement of materials
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
- Maintain accurate records of materials moved and hours worked
- Perform routine maintenance on the crane such as greasing gears and checking fluid levels
- Report any mechanical issues or malfunctions to the supervisor immediately

Crane Operator Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating different types of cranes
- Valid certification as a Crane Operator (e.g. CPCS)
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to crane operation
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or diagrams
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in outdoor environments
- Excellent communication skills in order to effectively communicate with team members

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1000 per month.
