We are in search of a skilled Preservation Architect to join our team on a part-time basis in the beautiful city of Funchal, Portugal. As a part-time Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings, structures, and monuments. The ideal candidate will have experience in the field and must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct site visits and assessments of historical buildings and structures
- Develop preservation plans and strategies for restoration projects
- Prepare architectural drawings and specifications for restoration work
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure successful completion of projects
- Monitor progress of restoration work and ensure adherence to preservation standards
- Evaluate potential risks to historical structures and recommend solutions
- Research historical information and documents related to buildings and structures

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture with specialization in historic preservation
- At least 2 years of experience in preservation architecture
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and techniques for historic preservation
- Proficient in computer-assisted design (CAD) software
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail
