Restaurant Manager - Indian Cuisine


Our busy Indian restaurant in Ashdod is seeking a skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee our operations and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. As an English speaking restaurant, we welcome applicants from all backgrounds, but fluency in Hindi or another Indian language is preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the restaurant, including supervising staff, handling customer inquiries and complaints, and ensuring quality service
- Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and maintain profitability
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Train new employees on restaurant policies, procedures, and menu items
- Create staff schedules to ensure proper coverage during peak hours
- Collaborate with chefs to develop new menu items and maintain food quality standards
- Conduct meetings with staff to discuss performance, address concerns, and promote team cohesion
- Enforce health and safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe environment for both customers and employees

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in restaurant management
- Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine and culture is preferred
- Excellent communication skills in English (fluency in Hindi or other Indian language is a plus)
- Strong leadership abilities with proven experience in managing staff
- Ability to handle high-stress situations while maintaining a positive attitude
- Experience in budgeting, cost control, and inventory management
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Salary: Up to $1700 per month (based on experience)

This is a full-time position without accommodation. However, we offer visa sponsorship for qualified candidates.
