Junior Industrial Architect
As a Junior Industrial Architect, you will be responsible for assisting in the design and development of industrial buildings and structures. You will work closely with senior architects to create functional, safe, and aesthetically pleasing spaces that meet client needs and adhere to industry standards. This entry-level position is ideal for someone who is passionate about architecture and eager to gain hands-on experience in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating designs and drawings for industrial buildings, such as factories, warehouses, and distribution centers
- Collaborate with senior architects to ensure designs comply with building codes and regulations
- Conduct research on materials and construction methods to determine the most efficient and cost-effective options
- Visit construction sites to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure designs are being executed correctly
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and address any concerns or changes in design plans
- Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed plans, blueprints, and 3D models
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, technologies, and best practices
Requirements:
- Degree in Architecture or related field
- Strong understanding of architectural principles and design concepts
- Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD or similar)
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction methods
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients
- Ability to multitask, prioritize projects, and meet deadlines
