Instrument Technician


We are a leading engineering company in Wiltz, seeking a skilled and dedicated Instrument Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various instruments used in industrial processes and equipment. This is a contract position with an immediate start date.

Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate and maintain various instruments such as pressure gauges, thermometers, flow meters, and control valves
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instruments and recommend necessary repairs or replacements
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on instruments to ensure proper functioning
- Keep accurate records of instrument readings, repairs, and maintenance activities
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure efficient operation of equipment
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while working on industrial sites or in hazardous environments

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is preferred
- Proven experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role in an industrial setting
- Familiarity with various types of instruments used in industrial processes
- Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and schematics
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques
- Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina for performing tasks such as climbing ladders or lifting heavy equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (preferred)

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1100 per month.
