Collections Specialist



We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Collections Specialist to join our team in Malindi, Kenya. As a Collections Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and collecting outstanding debts from our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Contact clients with outstanding debts via phone or email to arrange payment plans
- Negotiate payment terms and schedules with clients
- Monitor and track payment progress of clients
- Update and maintain accurate records of client payments and interactions
- Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies in payments
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely collection of payments
- Provide regular reports on collection activities to management

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Collections Specialist or similar role
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task effectively
- Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience in collections or related field
- Knowledge of debt collection laws and regulations is a plus

Salary:
1100$ per month
