Salary: 1600 USD per month



We are seeking a skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Braga, Portugal. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, networks, and servers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install and configure software and hardware components
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
- Upgrade systems with new releases and models
- Ensure security through access controls, backups, and firewalls
- Collaborate with IT support staff to resolve user issues
- Maintain network infrastructure including switches, routers, and firewalls
- Perform routine audits on systems and software

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience as a Network and Systems Administrator or similar role
- Knowledge of network security protocols (e.g. IPsec)
- Familiarity with backup and recovery software (e.g. Acronis)
- Ability to create scripts in Python or PowerShell
- Excellent communication skills

Preferences:
- Portuguese nationality or ability to work in Portugal without visa sponsorship
- Experience working with virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware)
- Familiarity with cloud computing services (e.g. AWS)
