Glass Installation Technician

We are seeking a skilled Glass Installation Technician to join our team in Dickirch. As a Glass Installation Technician, you will be responsible for installing and repairing glass in various structures, such as buildings, homes, and commercial properties. This is a contract job suitable for men without experience, making it an ideal opportunity for someone looking to break into the field.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut glass to specified dimensions
- Install glass in frames or structures using adhesives, putty or rubber gaskets
- Secure glass with clips or moldings
- Repair damaged or broken glass by removing old panes and replacing them with new ones
- Read and interpret blueprints or specifications to determine installation requirements
- Use tools such as saws, drills, grinders, and sanders to shape and smooth edges of glass
- Follow safety procedures while working at heights and handling sharp objects
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a glazier or in a related field is preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physically fit with the ability to work at heights and lift heavy objects
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Familiarity with different types of glass, glazing techniques, and safety regulations is a plus

Salary: $1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Dickirch (open to all nationalities)
