We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Merchandiser to join our team in Almada, Portugal. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for creating and executing merchandising plans to maximize sales and profitability. This includes conducting market research, analyzing sales data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop effective merchandising strategies.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify consumer trends and preferences
- Analyze sales data to determine product performance and make recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (such as marketing, design, and production) to develop merchandising plans that align with company goals
- Create visual displays that effectively showcase products in stores
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for ordering products
- Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers
- Track product performance and make adjustments to merchandising plans as needed
- Communicate regularly with store managers to ensure proper execution of merchandising plans
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitors' strategies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in retail merchandising or a related field
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1300 per month.
