Welder - Contract Position in Mombasa



We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in Mombasa on a contract basis. As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal structures by using various welding techniques. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Welder looking for a challenging role in a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Measure and mark dimensions on metal pieces to be welded
- Use various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding to join metal pieces together
- Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
- Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy
- Repair damaged metal structures by cutting, reshaping, and welding new pieces
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Welder or similar role
- Knowledge of various welding techniques and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Physical stamina to work in different positions for extended periods of time
- Attention to detail with strong hand-eye coordination
- Good communication skills in English

Salary:
This is a contract position with a salary of $1300 per month.

Location:
The position is based in Mombasa, Kenya. However, we welcome applicants of Indian nationality who have their own visa.
