Turner - Metal Machinist

A well-established engineering company in Eldoret is looking for a skilled Turner - Metal Machinist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating and maintaining metalworking machinery, as well as the ability to read and interpret technical drawings. This position offers a salary of 1600$ per month, with accommodation and visa sponsorship provided.

As a Turner - Metal Machinist, your main responsibilities will include setting up and operating metalworking machinery, such as lathes and mills, to produce high-quality metal parts according to technical drawings. You will also be responsible for maintaining the machinery and ensuring they are in good working condition.

The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of different types of metals and their properties. Proficiency in reading technical drawings is a must, as well as the ability to use various measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.

In addition to technical skills, we are looking for someone who is detail-oriented with a strong work ethic. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, with good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
