Preservation Architect
The Preservation Architect will be responsible for overseeing the preservation and restoration of historical buildings and structures in the city of Remish. They will work closely with government agencies, historical societies, and private owners to ensure that these structures are maintained and protected for future generations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of architectural history, preservation techniques, and building codes. They should also possess excellent project management skills and be able to collaborate with a team of professionals to achieve preservation goals. This position is contract-based and is suitable for both men and women.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
- Minimum of 5 years experience in historic preservation projects
- Strong knowledge of architectural history and preservation principles
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations
- Excellent project management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct site visits to assess the condition of historical buildings and structures
- Develop preservation plans that meet the standards of government agencies, historical societies, and private owners
- Work closely with contractors to ensure that preservation projects are completed on time and within budget
- Review plans for new construction or renovation that may impact historical structures
- Obtain necessary permits for preservation projects from relevant authorities
- Collaborate with other professionals such as engineers, historians, and conservationists to develop comprehensive preservation strategies
- Document all work done on historical structures for future reference
Salary: $1000/month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Remish (open to all nationalities)
