Pastry Chef - Wiltz, Luxembourg
We are seeking a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant in the beautiful city of Wiltz, Luxembourg. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and preparing delicious pastries and desserts that will delight our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare a variety of desserts and pastries according to recipes
- Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all pastry items
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed
- Train, supervise, and mentor junior pastry chefs
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to develop new menu items
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Adhere to all food safety standards and regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a pastry chef or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Creativity and artistic skills in designing pastries and desserts
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to train others effectively
- Good time management skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (knowledge of Malayalee language is a plus)
