Plasterer

As a Plasterer, you will be responsible for applying plaster and other materials to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces to create a smooth and even finish. You will also be responsible for preparing surfaces for plastering, mixing and applying plaster, and finishing the surface to achieve the desired texture or appearance. This role requires attention to detail, physical strength, and the ability to work with hand tools and power tools.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning them, removing old paint or wallpaper, and filling in cracks or holes
- Measure and mix ingredients to create the appropriate consistency of plaster
- Apply plaster using trowels or spray guns
- Smooth out rough spots or uneven areas using hand tools
- Create desired texture or pattern using various techniques such as troweling or sanding
- Repair any imperfections or cracks in existing plaster work
- Follow safety procedures when working with power tools and chemicals
- Work closely with other team members to complete projects within given deadlines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Plasterer or similar role preferred but not required
- Physical strength and stamina to work with heavy materials and stand for long periods of time
- Knowledge of different types of plaster materials and their applications
- Familiarity with hand tools such as trowels, brushes, and sanders
- Ability to accurately measure ingredients and follow instructions for creating the right consistency of plaster mixtures
- Attention to detail to achieve a smooth finish without imperfections or uneven areas
- Ability to read blueprints or design plans is a plus but not required
- Good communication skills
