Network and Systems Administrator


As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, servers, and networks. You will ensure that all systems are up-to-date and running smoothly, while also troubleshooting any issues that may arise. Your duties will include implementing security measures, performing data backups and disaster recovery operations, and monitoring network performance. You should have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong technical expertise in networking protocols and operating systems. This is a contract position with no accommodation provided. Freshers are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
- Administer network services such as DNS, DHCP, VPNs
- Install and configure computer hardware, software systems, networks
- Monitor system performance to ensure smooth operation
- Troubleshoot hardware/software/network issues promptly
- Implement security protocols to protect company data
- Perform regular backups of system data for disaster recovery purposes
- Manage user accounts and permissions on various systems
- Keep track of inventory for hardware/software/network equipment
- Collaborate with IT team members on projects or tasks as needed
- Stay updated on new networking technologies and make recommendations for improvement

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Proven work experience as a Network/Systems Administrator or similar role
- Knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP) and operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux)
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware)
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA) are a plus
