Preservation Architect


We are searching for a highly skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team in Khanpur. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving historic buildings and structures by developing plans and designs that maintain their architectural integrity while also making them functional for modern use.

In this role, you will work closely with clients, contractors, and other architects to complete projects that require preservation expertise. You must have a thorough understanding of historical architecture and building materials, as well as knowledge of preservation techniques and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historic buildings and structures to determine their condition and identify areas in need of preservation.
- Develop plans and designs that preserve the original character of the building while also meeting modern functionality requirements.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other architects to ensure that preservation plans are feasible and cost-effective.
- Research historical architecture styles, building materials, and construction techniques to inform preservation decisions.
- Obtain necessary approvals from local authorities for preservation projects.
- Monitor construction progress to ensure that preservation plans are being implemented correctly.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on preserved buildings to ensure their continued upkeep.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Preservation Architect.
- Extensive knowledge of historical architecture styles, building materials, and construction techniques.
- Strong understanding of preservation regulations and standards.
- Excellent design skills with the ability to create detailed plans using computer software.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
