Executive Pastry Chef
We are seeking an experienced Executive Pastry Chef to join our team in Mecca. As a leading luxury hotel, we are looking for someone with a passion for creating stunning, high-quality pastries and desserts. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience as a pastry chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting.
Responsibilities:
- Create and develop new pastry and dessert recipes, taking into consideration dietary restrictions and cultural preferences
- Supervise and train pastry staff on techniques, recipes, and presentation
- Ensure all pastries and desserts are made to the highest quality and presentation standards
- Manage inventory and ordering of ingredients to maintain stock levels
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, following all health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other chefs to create seasonal menus that incorporate pastries and desserts
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a pastry chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting
- Passion for creating unique and visually stunning pastries and desserts
- Strong knowledge of various baking techniques, including cake decorating, chocolate work, etc.
- Ability to lead a team and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills in order to effectively train staff and collaborate with other chefs
- Experience with inventory management and ordering ingredients
- Knowledge of dietary restrictions, cultural preferences, and food safety regulations
Salary: 1400$ per month (tax-free)
Language Preference: Malayalam (fluency in English is an advantage)
Nationality Preference: Open to all nationalities - foreign candidates welcome
