Senior Accountant

We are seeking a qualified Senior Accountant to join our team in Bungoma, Kenya. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial activities of our company and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and standards. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1300$, suitable for men and including accommodation and visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes
- Monitor budgeting and forecasting activities
- Participate in audits and ensure compliance with internal controls
- Manage payroll processing and employee benefits
- Develop financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency
- Provide guidance to junior accounting staff

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably as a Senior Accountant
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
