Canadian Pastry Chef in Medina


Our restaurant in Medina is seeking a skilled and experienced Canadian Pastry Chef to join our team. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of desserts, pastries, and other sweet treats for our customers. Your creativity and attention to detail will be essential in delivering delicious and visually appealing desserts that will leave a lasting impression on our guests.

Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare a wide range of desserts, pastries, and other sweet items according to our menu and customer requests
- Decorate pastries using different icings, toppings, and fillings to enhance their appearance
- Develop new recipes and ideas for seasonal specials or menu changes
- Ensure all pastry items are made with high-quality ingredients and presented in an appetizing manner
- Maintain inventory levels of pastry ingredients and supplies
- Train and supervise junior pastry staff members
- Follow strict sanitation procedures to maintain a clean work environment

Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Pastry Chef or relevant role in a professional kitchen setting
- Strong knowledge of different pastry techniques, ingredients, equipment, and methods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality
- Creative mindset with an eye for detail to create visually appealing desserts
- Excellent time-management skills to meet tight deadlines without compromising on quality
- Team player with good communication skills to effectively work with kitchen staff members from diverse backgrounds

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1700 per month for this full-time position. Additional benefits such as health insurance may also be provided.

Location:
Our restaurant is located in the beautiful city of Medina, known for its rich history, culture, and cuisine. As we cater to international tourists, proficiency in English is preferred but not required.
