Android Developer

We are hiring an experienced Android Developer to join our team in Lisbon. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for our clients. Your primary focus will be the development of Android applications and their integration with back-end services. You will work closely with our design and development teams to ensure the best possible user experience. This is a contract position with a salary of 1000$ per month, and we offer free visa and ticket for international candidates who meet our requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates looking to gain valuable experience in the tech industry.

Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Work with outside data sources and APIs
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proven working experience in Android app development
- Experience with Kotlin or Java programming languages
- Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
- Familiarity with third-party libraries and APIs
- Understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle
- Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience developing apps that have been published on Google Play Store
- Knowledge of Firebase or other back-end services integration
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

Location: This position is based out of Lisbon but can be remote for the right candidate.

Salary: The salary for this position is 1000$ per month.

Contract Duration: This is a contract position with a duration of 6 months, with the possibility of extension.
