Job Title: Android Developer (Contract) - Lisbon


We are seeking a skilled Android Developer to join our dynamic team in Lisbon. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for our clients. You must have a strong understanding of the Android platform and its latest trends, as well as experience with Java and Kotlin programming languages. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of professional experience in mobile app development, with a focus on Android. This is a contract position that offers a competitive salary of $900 per month and does not include accommodation. All nationalities are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Ensure code quality through code reviews, testing, and debugging
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Android development
- Continuously improve app performance and user experience
- Troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolutions
- Work closely with project managers to meet project deadlines

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent education/experience
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in mobile app development for Android platform
- Strong understanding of Java and Kotlin programming languages
- Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and SDKs
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Git version control system
- Knowledge of UI/UX principles
- Previous experience working on large-scale projects
- Familiarity with cross-platform development tools such as React Native or Flutter
