Entry Level Game Developer

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our small but growing game development team in Funchal. As an Entry Level Game Developer, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and gain hands-on experience in all stages of game development. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about game development and eager to learn and grow in the industry.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with other developers, designers, and artists to create engaging games
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Test and debug games to ensure they run smoothly on various platforms
- Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies to continuously improve skills
- Contribute ideas for game features and gameplay mechanics
- Participate in team meetings and provide input on project progress

Requirements:
- Strong understanding of fundamental programming concepts such as data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (C++, C#, Java)
- Knowledge of game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine
- Experience with version control systems like Git or SVN
- Passion for gaming and familiarity with different game genres
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with mobile game development
- Knowledge of 3D graphics programming
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology
- Understanding of UI/UX design principles

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1000 per month for this entry-level position. We also provide visa sponsorship for qualified candidates if needed.
