Game Developer



As a Game Developer, you will be responsible for creating and designing engaging and immersive video games. You will work closely with a team of designers, programmers, and artists to bring unique and innovative game concepts to life. Your duties will include coding game mechanics, implementing graphics and sound effects, debugging and testing games, and optimizing performance for various platforms.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with designers to develop game concepts and mechanics
- Write efficient code for game functionality using programming languages such as C++ or Java
- Implement graphics, animations, and sound effects to enhance the overall gaming experience
- Identify and fix bugs and troubleshoot technical issues
- Optimize game performance for different platforms including PC, console, mobile devices, etc.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in game development technology
- Work closely with artists to ensure visual assets are integrated into the game seamlessly

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Game Developer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as C++, Java, or Unity
- Experience with game engines like Unreal or Unity is a plus
- Knowledge of 2D/3D animation software such as Maya or Blender is an advantage
- Familiarity with game development tools like Visual Studio or Xcode
- Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with team members from different backgrounds
- Creative mindset with a passion for video games
- Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1300 per month along with accommodation in the beautiful city of Funchal. We also provide assistance in obtaining a biometric passport if needed.
