Senior Commercial Architect


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Commercial Architect to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing commercial architectural projects from conception to completion. This position offers a competitive salary of 1300$ per month, along with accommodation, free visa, and ticket.

As a Senior Commercial Architect, you will use your expertise and creativity to design functional and aesthetically pleasing commercial spaces while considering the client's budget and needs. You will also oversee the work of junior architects and collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure successful project delivery.

The ideal candidate for this position should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture and at least 5 years of experience in commercial architecture. Excellent technical skills in AutoCAD, SketchUp or other related software are also required. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are crucial for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead commercial architectural projects from concept development to construction completion
- Develop design proposals that meet client's requirements while adhering to budget constraints
- Create detailed drawings using AutoCAD or other related software
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals throughout the project lifespan
- Conduct site visits to ensure project progress and quality control
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively
- Mentor junior architects and provide guidance on design principles

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial architecture
- Expertise in AutoCAD, SketchUp or other related software
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction processes
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
