Preservation Architect
Our architectural firm in Utena is seeking a highly skilled Preservation Architect to join our team. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings while adhering to strict preservation guidelines and regulations. This is a unique opportunity to use your architectural expertise to protect and celebrate the cultural heritage of Utena.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research on historic buildings and their significance
- Develop preservation plans that respect the building's historical integrity and cultural value
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure preservation efforts are carried out effectively
- Monitor construction progress to ensure compliance with preservation guidelines
- Perform site visits and inspections to assess building conditions and identify potential risks or issues
- Prepare reports, proposals, and presentations for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies
- Stay updated on current preservation techniques, materials, and regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years experience in historic preservation projects
- Knowledge of local and national historic preservation regulations and guidelines
- Strong design skills with experience in using AutoCAD, Revit or other design software
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
We offer a competitive salary of 1800$ per month along with accommodation. This position is open to all nationalities but proficiency in English is required.
