Preservation Architect
Location: Utena, Lithuania
We are seeking a highly skilled Preservation Architect to join our team in the beautiful city of Utena, Lithuania. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures while ensuring they meet modern safety and building codes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historical buildings and structures to determine necessary preservation and restoration work
- Develop detailed preservation plans that outline the scope of work, timeline, and budget for each project
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure projects are completed efficiently and within budget
- Oversee construction activities, ensuring that all work is done according to preservation standards and regulations
- Monitor the progress of projects, making adjustments as needed to ensure successful completion
- Maintain accurate records of all project details including costs, materials used, and any changes made during construction
- Stay up-to-date on current preservation techniques and regulations through continued education and research
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in preservation architecture
- Knowledge of local building codes, historic preservation guidelines, and construction practices
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Lithuanian is a plus)
Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of 1700$ per month for this position.
