Carpenter - Construction and Renovation Specialist


We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our construction and renovation team in Akron. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures made of wood, plywood, and other materials. You will also be involved in renovating existing structures and ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials according to project specifications
- Build or repair structures such as walls, roofs, floors, decks, and cabinets
- Install fixtures such as windows, doors, stairs, trim, and hardware
- Follow blueprints and building plans to ensure accuracy
- Inspect and maintain tools and equipment
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed on job sites

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role in construction/renovation
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Ability to read blueprints and follow building plans accurately
- Strong knowledge of construction materials and techniques
- Physically fit with good balance and hand-eye coordination
- Attention to detail with excellent time management skills

Preferred:
- Experience working with various types of wood, including hardwoods like oak or maple.
- Familiarity with building codes in Akron.
- Own transportation preferred.
