Experienced Tiler - Acre, Kenya


We are in need of an experienced Tiler to join our team in Acre, Kenya. As a Tiler, you will be responsible for installing and repairing various types of tiles, including ceramic, porcelain, and stone. Your main goal will be to complete projects efficiently and with high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark surfaces to be tiled
- Cut tiles to size using specialized tools
- Prepare surfaces by removing old tiles or cleaning and leveling them
- Spread adhesive or mortar evenly over the surface
- Place tiles in a pattern or design according to specifications
- Align and straighten tiles using levels, squares, or straightedges
- Fill in gaps between tiles with grout and remove excess grout using sponges or other tools
- Apply sealant to protect tile surfaces when necessary

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Tiler with a strong portfolio of past projects
- Extensive knowledge of different types of tiles and their installation methods
- Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions
- Good hand-eye coordination and physical stamina for standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods of time
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1300$ per month for this position.
