Web Developer (Contract)


We are a fast-growing web development company based in Akron, seeking a talented and experienced Web Developer to join our team on a contract basis. As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining websites and web applications using cutting-edge technologies. Your role will involve working closely with designers and project managers to ensure the successful delivery of projects within the agreed timelines. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP, as well as excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. As a Web Developer, your responsibilities will include:

- Developing responsive websites and web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Collaborating with designers and project managers to understand project requirements.
- Troubleshooting and debugging code to ensure smooth functionality.
- Conducting website testing to identify any issues or bugs.
- Ensuring website security measures are in place.
- Staying up-to-date with emerging web technologies and trends.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Proven experience working as a Web Developer.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Experience with WordPress or other content management systems.
- Familiarity with website optimization techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.

This is a contract position with the possibility of extension or conversion to full-time based on performance. We offer competitive compensation of $1600 per month along with accommodation assistance for out-of-town candidates. Visa sponsorship may also be provided if needed.
